Amidst the challenges faced by women in accessing quality healthcare, a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and volunteers came together to make a significant impact. The medical mission was a resounding success, providing vital health services and education to women in the community.
Make Wishes Come True

Grant A Wish has been one of JCI Zugbuana's annual flagship projects whose aim is to grant the wishes of our beneficiary communities. It was first pioneered in 2008 and every year, thereafter. Among the wishes granted were educational scholarships, medical surgeries, and gifts for our partner beneficiaries. This has been an annual activity that showcases JCI Zugbuana’s long standing partnership with her sister chapters.
JCI Zugbuana hosted the EmpowHER project at the Mabolo Sports Complex, marking their third project launch for Women's Month this year. The event was a huge success, providing over 150 women from Barangay Mabolo with free livelihood and self-defense training, courtesy of the Department of Manpower and Development and Grand Master Tining Arcilla, respectively. Additionally, attendees had access to legal aid, medical aid, and national ID services, which were available to all.
